"Partnerships with individuals & organizations, such as the Upper Room, are so important. We are all called to be a part of His Great Commission, & as we read in 1 Corinthians 12, there are many parts but one body. The Lord calls some to go & others to send, both equally important & significant in reaching the World with the Gospel! For me, partnerships (both in prayer and finances) provide a covering of protection while in my assignment; it is a team of people who love the Lord and are there to fight along side me to see the Great Commission fulfilled."

A Space for Belonging,
A Mission for Impact

From a small flickering flame to a growing community hub,
the Upper Room’s journey is one of mission-driven passion
and unexpected grace (upon grace). What started as a
simple desire for connection has grown into something far
greater—a place where faith, vintage fashion, and true
community come together in a way we never could have
planned, yet God always knew.

It all began when we met Jesus in an unexpected place—
on the road, in our self-converted van, searching for truth,
healing, and purpose. We weren’t looking for Him, but He showed up for us in a radical way, and everything changed. The God of the Bible calls us to live differently: to care for the widow and orphan (James 1:27), to give generously (Matthew 19:21), and to share the hope we’ve found (1 Peter 1:3-6). That calling led us here—to Cambridge, Wisconsin—where we get to live out the mission that’s been placed on our hearts.
More Than a Store—
A Movement of Love and Purpose

The Upper Room is more than a place to shop. Every vintage find, every shared cup of coffee, every conversation is an opportunity to build something deeper. We believe that every piece of clothing tells a story, that every gathering is a chance to create belonging, and that every sale fuels something bigger than ourselves.
That’s why 20% of all profits go directly to the Love Thy Neighbor Mission Fund, helping to provide clothing, financial support, and Bibles to those in need—because the Kingdom work is right here in our backyard.

Through curated collections, meaningful events, and a heart for service, we’re not just running a thrift store—we’re creating a space where people can experience the joy of belonging, discover the power of community, and step into the abundant life God has for them.

We invite you to step into something new, explore the whispers of the past, and be part of the beautiful story that God is writing here at the Upper Room.

Join us in Cambridge—try us on for size and see why so many have made the Upper Room their favorite place to thrift, connect, and grow.
