"Partnerships with individuals & organizations, such as the Upper Room, are so important. We are all called to be a part of His Great Commission, & as we read in 1 Corinthians 12, there are many parts but one body. The Lord calls some to go & others to send, both equally important & significant in reaching the World with the Gospel! For me, partnerships (both in prayer and finances) provide a covering of protection while in my assignment; it is a team of people who love the Lord and are there to fight along side me to see the Great Commission fulfilled."

Our journey began on the road, traveling in our
self-converted van, searching for purpose.
God showed up in unexpected ways, calling us to
love generously, care for others, and share hope — a call
that brought us to Cambridge, WI, where we get to live it out every day.

The Upper Room is not just a thrift shop. It’s a space where relationships are formed, lives are touched, and faith comes alive in unexpected places.
​
Through our work, we’ve donated 1,000+ pounds of clothing locally, and in partnership with Love First Ministries, we’ve given over 17,750 items — extending stewardship and service far beyond what we could do alone.
​
Our ministry started with gifting Bibles, and has grown into offering resources and teachings that encourage people to put their faith into action. Our hope is that this ministry sparks others to serve, love, and make an impact for God’s Kingdom wherever they are.
